Thanks so much for your thoughts! I'm so pleased you enjoyed this. I have to hope for Felix's own sake that he won't become consumed by his grudges. As millari said, maybe it helped that Sam was trying to make amends, since most people who hurt Felix don't bother. So this was something like his weary acceptance of Chief sitting by him at the end of Collaborators. I have to hope Felix starts to forgive before he turns into a Lee Harvey Oswald figure, unhinged by his resentment. I think it'd be good therapy for him to indulge in a little fun and nonsense.

Thanks for your support over the Dee/Felix story! I think maybe I have the wrong impression that shippers want a cute fluffy relationship between these two. I think their friendship is sweet, but a relationship (while I could see it happening) doesn't strike me as a "good thing" either. But angst is always interesting, right? I mean, I ship Gaius/Felix and I really can't say that relationship is a good thing for Felix either, far from it! I agree that Dee's look was a pitying one, same as Helo, Gaius, Lee and everyone else who is looking at Felix with concern now. It'll be interesting to see if Dee (or any of the others) make an effort to comfort him in 4.5.
